Helping you rebuild strength, movement and confidence — safely at home.
After an illness, injury or surgery it’s common to have pain and uncertainty about your recovery and how to even start returning to your usual activities. Rehabilitation at home can help you build strength, reduce complications, and speed up your return to work or everyday life with confidence. It is something we do very often, for conditions such as:
- Total hip, shoulder and knee replacements
- Other orthopaedic surgery and fractures
- Conditions requiring extended hospitalisation
- Cardiac and respiratory conditions
- Post-viral fatigue
- “Prehab” – early pre-surgery physio to maximise your body’s strength and movement, often associated with a better, less stressful post-surgery experience.
Whatever your rehab is for, our experience and expertise will guide you on the different stages of your journey; we’ll work with you step-by-step toward greater strength, movement and confidence.
We will keep your medical team updated as required.
Why Rehab at Home Makes a Difference
Recovery often happens best in the place where you live and move every day. In-home physiotherapy allows us to tailor your program to your real environment — stairs, furniture, and routines — making it more relevant, safer, and more effective.
You don’t need to leave the house or organise transport. We come to you, with a clear plan to support your progress, at your own pace, to help you to achieve your goals.
By identifying areas of the body that need strengthening or unhelpful movement patterns that may have developed, we can identify ways to improve the way you are moving, helping you regain independence in your everyday activities.
What to Expect
Your first session includes a comprehensive assessment and goal-setting to create your personalised plan.
We typically focus on:
- Pain relief, strength, endurance, balance
- The activities and tasks you want to achieve
- Being able to go out into the community
- Practical strategies for reaching your goals
Your program can evolve with you, as you meet goals and build lasting confidence.
