- Do some form of physical activity, no matter what your age, weight, health problems or abilities.
- Be active every day doing a range of different physical activities that incorporate fitness, strength, balance and flexibility.
- Accumulate at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity on most, preferably all, days.
- Start at an easy level and gradually build up, particularly if you are starting a new physical activity.
- Enjoy a lifetime of physical activity and continue in your own way in later life, provided recommended safety procedures and guidelines are followed.
